Update...
going into CFAdmin and clearing template cache a few times and then submitting changes a few times will fix it. Though i have to do that every time i modify the css sheet.

Changing the height did not change anything.
In Firefox, the Java cfgrid isnt even loading.
It seems the flash cfgrid isnt even loading either.
