Based on other threads I saw here in this forum, I set my domain spam filtering settings to the what I wrote below. I am still getting spam in my inbox. Can anyone recommend changes to these settings to reduce the amount of spam I am getting in my inbox?

Bayesian Filtering 10
Reverse DNS 20
SPF Pass 0
SPF Fail 30
SPF Soft Fail 10
SPF Neutral 0
SPF Invalid Record 0
SPF None 0
Spam List: Spam Cop 10
Spam List: SpamHaus SBL+XBL 30

Low Prob Weight 10
Medium Prob Weight 20
High Probab Weight 30

Thanks!

The problem with spam and filtering is that you'll always be a step behind the newest techniques. Configuring any filters whether they are custom or built into SmarterMail is time consuming and can be frustrating to get perfectly correct as it can vary from person to person.

You might want to consider Postini which filters your mail before it hits SmarterMail. There's a free 30-day trial in the control panel and there's absolutely no obligation to keep it after the trial ends (although it's only $1/email address per month and very few cancel it after seeing how well it performs in blocking spam). You've nothing to lose from the free trial; I'd say give it a shot.

What are your actions for the different level of spam?

I would say bump up
Bayesian Filtering and Spam List: Spam Cop
Bayesian Filtering helps for when you mark messages as spam and the Spam cop is another spam list the emails can be checked up against.
