SQL Express populate

I finally made the jump to VPS. I'm struggling with the SQL express interface, though. I can create the tables and add the columns. But I'm having trouble finding a way to pre-populate the table with values.

I know it's a newbie problem, but I'm just not seeing it.

Do you mean with dummy data? or real data from another one of your databases?

It's a fully relational db, so there are lots of tables with prefilled information, like States. I know that I can't import into Express.
