WordPress version 2 was released the day after Christmas a couple of months ago. What are the plans for upgrading?

wondering this myself. We gonna get updated, or can/should we go ahead and do it ourselves?

I'm surprised a reply wasn't made to this already. I apologize for that.

You can actually upgrade your Blog following the directions from WordPress at http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress
Remember to FTP to your blog address, which will probably be blog.domain.com. You also have SSH access on the blog server, your login information is the same as for FTP. Following the directions someone who is comfortable with a terminal window can complete the upgrade in about 30 minutes, I would say. If you get stuck, email support@hostmysite.com and request that we upgrade your blog for you.

New blogs are currently (as of last week, Late April 2006) set up running WordPress 2.0.2. If you have already upgraded your blog to 2.0 or created your blog in the past few months you probably have a 2.0 blog (check your version number the bottom of the page in the Admin Interface). I HIGHLY reccomend upgrading to 2.0.2 as it includes several security patches.
