Hello Andy, Does the user have permissions to upload, delete, etc? By default, the permissions for the user are pretty limited. By default, a new user only has Read, List, and List Subdirs permissions. To change that, go to Filezilla Server > Users > the user > Shared Folders > click the shared folder, and to the right of it, you will see other permissions. If that doesn't work, feel free to submit a ticket to vps@hostmysite.com and we'll look into it for you.
For IIS < 7 see the following article:

Not sure if it's still the same with IIS 7.

Ryan,
Thank you for your response. Indeed, the user has full permissions. I will submit a support ticket.

Post subject: Comprehensive FTP solution
Hi,
I run a VPS and have been the only FTP'er user so Windows FTP has worked fine. I wanted to add another FTP user and ran into the problems faced by others in this forum with the Windows FTP wizard, so I installed FileZilla and created a user and gave them all permissions to a particular folder. They were able to log in, but that was it. No uploading, etc. Any ideas why this user has no permissions other than to log in? TIA.
Sincerely,
Andy
