Hello.

I have a potential client who has a photo copier with web access. I'm not sure as the the specifics of it yet, but he needs "Document Storage" or documents copied by the copier. at 300dpi. I was looking at HMS's Visual Valut, but not sure if that will work. Any suggestions as to good Document storage applications (besides custom building one).?

I think I understand what you want to do here. Based on how this system works, I don't know if Visual Vault would be what you need. Visual Vault is really designed to be an online colloaboration tool to use, For example, a company could use Visual Vault to create. update, and store company procedures and then store any files (word documents, PDFs etc) that support the policy forms made online. When you are referring to storage do you just mean storage in the sense of a place to put scanned company documents. Honestly I would recommend getting in touch with Hostmysite Sales people. They can then contact Visual Vault directly and get a straight answer for you.

I spoke to someone about Visual Vault, and she was extrememly helpful.

I am still unsure of my potential client's needs. It very wel might just be that I can FTP them to their hosting account to a secured folder. IF that's the case, that's a piece of cake Cool

Thanks for the info.

Thats what I figured. Smile Visual Vault has a TON of features and its a great product but thats why I wasn't sure it might be overkill for what you need. Smile Anyways, if you decide you need it you'll be very happy with it.
