In order to provide a discount via a coupon code in Miva 5, do I need to purchase a module?
thanks!

Yep, you'll have to get a module. Or I suppose you could make a product that already has the discount, but that would only be for the product. The coupon modules will typically allow you to do all sorts of settings like $ off certain $$ or a % off type deal. You could even make the code one time use only and just a ton of other settings which would make it worth wild for purchase.
