I have my working RoR app locally on my Windows XP machine now and have uploaded i to my account.
And i have changed the first line in dispatch.fcgi, dispatch.cgi and dispatch.rb to #!/usr/bin/ruby the only page working now is the "Welcome to RoR" standard page (http://89622.hostmyapplications.com/blog/).
When i open my blog i just receive this..
"Application error
Rails application failed to start properly"
Is there anything else that i must change to make my blog work?
Could it be wrong database configuration? i have changed it to be accurate..
Please.. any ideas?
Solution:
1: cd ~/appDir/public/
2: chmod oga+x dispatch.*

rjonsson - I took a look and it looks like you got everything sorted out. Let us know if you're still seeing problems, or if you have any good troubleshooting tips for other users

Yes. I contacted the Support.. the problem was that i didn't have execute access for the dispatch.* files..
