Okay...does anyone know how to change the order that products are listed in a category? I want one of my products at the the top, and I've moved it in the products section of Miva, but it doesn't show in the order I want it to. Does that even make sense??

Go into each category...click Products and in the product list, use the links above to sort via code or name ascending or descending...or use the little arrows next to the products to move them up or down one at a time....

Or, look at our StoreMan product which lets you sort via code, name, price, date, etc...and do all products in all categories in a single pass. StoreMan also lets you change a specific product order by just entering the "order" number.

(These sorting features also apply to categories, attributes, options, and related products.)

Other than the module and manual way bruce mentioned, there are some modules available for product sorting.

Yes, there are specific modules to sort this, and sort that, but only StoreMan sorts almost all Merchant content data..

Thats great but the poster specifically asked just about products within a category and I did give a nod to storeman as well.

The poster asked a specific question, but in my opinion, the larger question is "how to gain control over my content." To me, the answer is StoreMan...to you, the answer might be this $25 module today, this $25 module tomorrow, this $20 module the next day...fine...your call...Why post this reply? Is there a point of fact rebutable? Is there something wrong with me promoting StoreMan? Do I suggust other remidies when you talk about SEO services...Jason, get off it already huh?

Everyone should have storeman. Makes life a lot easier. That is why I pointed to your post and just didn't say get these modules.

Actually my call is "here are all your available options". I actually help store owners do more without having to buy more modules.

Promoting storeman? Nothing wrong with me or you doing that. You would be an idiot not to do so.

Do I suggust other remidies when you talk about SEO services...Jason, get off it already huh?

You are free to do so. Respond to the original poster's question and not mine. Then the poster can checkout different opinions and make up his own mind. I try and make that a habit, and it seems to work well. If I think someone has responded with a bunch of b.s. to a question, I just post my opinion to give them a different view.

I don't know why you are so touchy tonight and keep wondering why I respond to your posts about my posts, but its all good. Its always cool to see you at the conferences. Can't wait for this year.
