errrr ...maybe you meant IE 6 in specific and even still its a bit too sensitive, all my websites comply to XHTML 1.0 strict W3C standards, so does my CSS and being an assembly and C programmer you know I like efficient code, I still spend loads and loads of time making quirks for IE 5, IE mac, and like right now I'm splitting hairs because miva will not allow my DOCTYPE declaration, so IE 6 quirks like IE 5 but does not have the IE 5 bugs :-s and the page looks crazy on IE, however this is not the case for ALL other major browsers (Konqueror, Opera, Safari, Firefox and text output on Lynx I have to say I love safari and firefox. |

Well, it looks like they are getting on the tabbed browsing bandwagon too...
http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,1850181,00.asp Personally, I can't stand tabbed browsing. I've been an ALT+TAB guy since the time before time. 256-bit SSL encryption is also on the way, but we'll need to wait for IIS 7 for that to become available on windows servers. This already works on apache and firefox. I'm kind of curious about their 'anti-phishing' filters tho. How will they know if that email from citibank or paypal is legit. Has anyone actually tried out the beta yet? I don't have a spare computer to sacrifice to check it out. (Reminds me of a time I installed IE4 beta on a workstation. R.I.P.) |
