While I have considered using templates from time to time, I shudder at the prospect of having to rework every webpage to fit the new design. Maybe tho, I don't understand how templates work. Ideally, I just want to change the background of my current website without changing its structure. In other words, I don't want to adapt my website to the template, I want it to adapt to me. Is this possible?

I have a 160 page website with various layouts within the body (no frames) and want to keep using my FrontPage editor.

Since I've now given up trying to find a template I like, believing also (rightly or wrongly) it would be a Herculean task to change layouts (believing installing a template is only practical for someone creating a brand-new website)... I'm now looking for someone to design something just for the header section (only) of FrontPage. (something I can copy and paste)

This 'design' could include a logo.

If you were using Dreamweaver Templates to begin with (.dwt), you literally could have changed the look of your entire site in about 5 seconds. When using Dreamweaver templates, Dreamweaver will update every page associated with that template. Whenever you make a change to the template.

You could infact convert your site layout to a dreamweaver template if every page (header and footer) is about the same. You can do a find an replace to stip out the old template, and apply the new dreamweaver template in a matter of seconds. I love using dreamweaver templates they make updating a whole lot easier

Well, it's apples and oranges... I don't have dreamweaver (FrontPage, I said). At 65, I'm too danged old to change horses... besides, I like FrontPage. I suppose I can always get Adobe Photoshop and do it myself.
