I have a small video footage of me that lasts no more than 10 seconds on my website. What i would like to do is use the video file as a link when the video has finished, The idea being the video footage will be the enter button to the website itself. So, does anyone know how i can accomplish this at all? and what programs are needed and such.

You can create a flash movie to accomplish this. You'll need Macromedia Flash (or something like SWISH http://www.swishzone.com although I'm not sure if SWISH imports video).

Create a new flash movie and import the video. You can then have the flash movie display a graphic or text as a link.

I'm not very savvy at all with Flash, but maybe someone else here can give you some more assistance.
