I know that there are some people here that could find this handy... I wrote a small, quick, dirty, but easily customized application for the display of files and folders. The only thing you need to be able to do is create containing folders (but you don't have to) and drop the files/folders into your site via FTP.

This is where you can come in and type a description, short story, or whatever it is that floats your boat. I wrote this little app to appease my brother - Mr. "I-wanna-post-thing-online-but-Im-not-a-geek" Wink Basically, he could FTP things (create folders and upload files) and that's where his expertise stopped... So I just made a few files he could upload with everything else and *BAM* he was good to go!!! (You can even see what he did here: http://rubyandian.com/wow/.

Included in the package you'll find a file called info.txt - you can type anything in here, including HTML - and no matter what you do you won't mess up the files that run this app. Feel free to modify the CSS file as well, and if you're technically inclined to do so, even the gallery itself.

This supports the exclusions of specific files or even extensions. In order to add/change any exclusions, you need to edit the index.aspx file. There are directions in there Wink Also, to change the page title, you need to edit the index.aspx file so far. There are a few more items which you can easily modify in there as well.

If you have any suggestions, improvements that you've made, or even just criticism please let me know at Josh@JoshAndBrandi.com. Thanks!!!

Josh,

There's a problem with your Gallery Download link.
