We want to include the product description when viewing the initial product/thumbnail. Right now the description only shows up on the next screen if the customer clicks the thumbnail. Where do I find the setting options for what I want visible and not not visible to the customer? I don't see it anywhere in the admin.

Found it with HostMySite support.
you need to go to the link "pages" and find the page (in this case it was the category page). hit edit button and your can click "product list layout".
