I setup a secure site URL @ https://www62.safesecureweb.com/ullr/ . The padlock in the information bar shows up while the page is loading and then I get a 'This page contains both secure and non secure items' message. After I click OK on the dialog box, the padlock goes away. On the web forms in the site I want to insure that security is maintained. So is there anything I need to do to my code to keep the padlock?

I would say 99% of the time, this is a result of you providing the full unsecure URL to a resource on your site. Most likely it is an image, so instead of doing http://yourdomain.com/image.jpg use https://www62.safesecureweb.com/ullr/image.jpg.

I also just checked your the link you had and on that page, it looks like the error is coming because you are loading this news frame with http://www.ullr.com/newstextfile.html. Also, as a tip, if you want to find out what is that is causing the error, just hit no on the box that pops up and the unsecure items will not load. From there, just look for what you are missing.

Of course I forget that all the time and through lots of text looking for the source Rolling Eyes .

You where right that it was the news box. The page I am concerned about, ussreg.aspx does not display a dialog and the padlock still does its disappearing act. I looked at the code and I can't blame an unsecured image this time. Does that rule also inclube hyperlinks?

I'm concerned about this because this page will be used by customers and I want them to be comfortable with the pages security.

Thanks for the help.

I looked at the ussreg.aspx and I didn't get the dialog, but I do see that it has a graphical image saying that the cert is expired or is invalid. I don't think the site seal will display correctly when you are using the shared SSL. Of course, you can get your Xramp cert for only $89 a year.
