No more Flash or MM forum categories?
I'm troubleshooting my site updates. http://www.imageelectric.com I have a Proxus FLV player component loading external FLV's. Everything works fine locally and in preview browser mode of my remote site main.htm page & remote flv files . However, the player is not accessing the FLV's via either IE or FF browser. Any ideas? Thanks. --NAN |

THis may be the ticket!
(from the support document from my Proxus FLV playback component: My player is working locally but files uploaded online don't work. What happened? Added on 2004-09-23 This problem is not related to our component but it's very easy to fix. This is a common issue for hosting companies that have never dealt with certain file types - they just have to set things up to recognize your file type. Just contact your host and tell them to add FLVmime type. |

Yep ... everything works just fine now. Maybe the difference is that I was using a component?

I dont know, if I had that component I could tell you how it worked or how it needed to be too work right, I would would have to dig into it to see how they were making the call to get the flv's.
