Here is the walkthrough for configuring Outlook Express to use the HostMySite.com email servers:
http://www.hostmysite.com/support/email/outlook/ (Unfortunately, we don't have a walkthrough for the full version of Outlook, however it is similar to the one above) And the walkthrough for Netscape Navigator: http://www.hostmysite.com/support/email/netscape-communicator/ For all other clients, use the following general information: 1. POP3/Incoming and SMTP/outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.xxx 2. Username and password: set in the webmail interface when creating accounts (the username should be your FULL email address, not just the username) 3. In some cases, your ISP may require you to use their mail server and/or may block the use of any third-party SMTP servers. Earthlink and MSN are examples of ISP's that restrict SMTP use. In order to work around this restriction, we have enabled to use of outbound port 50 for our clients. You use this, simply find within your email client where the outbound or SMTP port is specified, and change it from the default of 25 to 50. All other information shown above still applies. |

Let's say you want to download your email from another folder other than the Inbox. You would simply create an additional user in your email client with following format:
username-MyFolder@domainName.xyz For Example, clayton-spam@hostmysite.com The password is the same as it is for the 'clayton' account. |

Clayton,
Thanks for the info on the separate folders. That was one of the questions that I've had and hadn't asked yet. |

Sorry about that Kris; I actually have know that for quite some time but it's a relatively minor point so I haven't posted anything about it.
