Yep... I saw that... like I predicted, FF will start coming "under attack" and we'll be able to see just how good this product is AND how good it's developers are.
No exceptions

No product released to the masses will every be able to get around being attacked. It may take a couple of months to find, but there will always be some vulnerability to take advantage of. Sad

but it still wont have the impact as the spyware of ie, unless the user is pretty **** stupid

no matter how u cut it, its not part of the os.

the bad news is that the main develper of firefox went elsewhere or something, maybe working 2 things

they say 2 of them by years end, oh gawd no!! better than 200

yes but never fear ie7 is almost here!! haha

i have to post this quote cause it comes from someone on my cfm list who defends m$ as much as i attack them, bout crapped my pants when i read it and saw who wrote it hahaha

Firefox is:
- free
- small in size
- very clean code-wise (they chucked all the old stuff and started over)
- cross-platform
- extensible (go to Tools|Extensions or Tools|Themes)
- open source

At the end of the day, it comes down to what you like. My only strong belief is that IE 6.0 is the worst browser in years from anyone. WAY too many holes, crappy memory footprint, cpu-hogger, and far too integrated into Windows.

Remember how Macromedia had a little contest to get people to guess what MX meant? Let's guess what the 7 in IE 7 stands for:

- 7 times as many bugs as the last version
- 7 ways to expose your filesystem to the outside world
- 7 browser crashes per session
- 7 GHz PC required to run the pig

And I generally admire what Microsoft has done in the industry. I wonder what the *real* critics must be saying.
