Well I came across my first runin with FF today. I was working with a friend of mine on some XHTML complient code with Flash objects in it. As such we hadda remove the embed tag from the code wrapping the Flash object. IE would display it correctly but FF wouldn't show the Flash at all.

We found this site and it shold work for us - just wanted to pass it on...

Okay... if you got http://talbotvideo.com and enter one of those categories, and see the items in that category... the Play Video links (which I'm going to use to use MMS streaming... that was just decided today) open a window. That is only one file to which I dynamically load these movies - of course. So, if I can use a swf and feed it these MMS links dynamically that'd be ideal. Got me?

so this would need a whole nother conversion after being converted to WMV? The point was to have these running thru Windows Streaming media server (MMS)... :/

Well, then we can offer tow options. how difficult is it to convert WMV to FLV? What tools do I need? Will I lose any quality?

Right now, I pull the movie filename from a db via a recordid passed in the querystring... As simple as that. From there it loads the movie.
