Hello all,

I have created a multipart message using cfmailpart. In testing it, I set up some mock email addresses (my own) and it successfully send the html version to my outlook, but I want to test the text version. Is there anyway to temparily turn off the html in outlook, or is their another way I can test to ensure that the text part of the message works as well.

Thanks! Very Happy

I haven't seen an option for that in Outlook, but there are some spam killer programs that will display the text only. Most are low-cost, free, or have a trial version if you are just testing temporarily.

Well just for testing you can send the text mail part only. But be warned only do this for testing only.

Hotmail will not display a CF mail message that only has a text mail part and no html mail part for some reason. Perhaps it was my hotmail settings, but I didn't spend too much time on it.

I think Eudora has an option to view all emails as text. A lot of linux email clients have this option too.

Linux + html email = Twisted Evil
