Need to setup pop email accounts or email forwarding for a number of domains.
Smartermail is $300. Anyone know of a free solution? |

Actually, all of our Windows VPS accounts come with a free 50 domain license of SmarterMail. If you need more than 50 domains than you may want to look at http://www.hmailserver.com/ which is a free mail server. It needs about 100MB of memory to use though, so if you are using the Base VPS you may run into memory issues.

All Windows VPS accounts come with the 50 domain license with the exception of the Windows VPS Base accounts. If you need the free license, please let us know and we'll send it your way so you can activate SmarterMail and SmarterStats. You should also be able to get the license via the control panel as the account admin:

We use Google's hosted email services. Free for 6 GB. We have had it for about year and only experienced one outage so far. But it was back online in a few hours.

Just to clarify, the BASE Windows VPS package comes with the free version of Smartermail; all other packages come with the 50 domains / 250 user version.
