Did any one upgraded their SM 4.x to SM 5? Any issues while upgrading and after that?
I have a dedicated server and running SM 4.x. I would like to upgrade to SM 5.

I haven't personally done any upgrades to SmarterMail 5 for customers yet, prolly because it just came out of beta. I will try it on my test server here tomorrow and see if I can get any errors to come up. It should hopefully be smooth like the others.

As you said, let the BETA test get over, then we may change over.

I think it is out of BETA now and fully released. We are still Beta testing it. I have migrated peoples domains to servers already configured with SmarterMail 5 and it was seamless so I cant imagine the upgrade having any problems. I will do the upgrade on my own server Sunday (got really busy last week...). I'll let you know the results.

I installed it on my server and did not notice any problems...everything updated as it should...my server is mainly for testing etc...have you tested out SM5 yet and played around with the new interface..it is a lot different then the other versions.

I was checking the Online Demo on SM website. It's cool. Yesterday i received a mail from Smartertools regd. the production release of SM 5.

I yet have to migrate 20+ domains from my old host to my new dedicated server. All domains are on SM 4. Once i finish that, i shall request HMS for SM 5 upgrade.

I already have the SM 5 Pro Unlimited license. By the time SM 5.x will be out of all bugs and issues.
