Dedicated Server

Hello,

I was trying to find forum for Dedicated server. But i could'nt fine any. Do anyone ons dedicated server witH HMS? Could you please put your reviews here? We are planning to have a dedicated server with Smarter mail.

Hi,

I dont see any reply yet on this topic. So i went ahead and purchased a dedicated server from HMS. It went online on Feb End. And let me say, its coooooooooooooool.

Starting from marketing level: Scott Butz,, he is awesome.. Good Technical knowledge, Nice way of interacting.. Replies to all queries.. Great.

Next came the techies.. Stephan, Ryan.. Awesome. When we ask two things, they give us three.. They just dont blindly do what we ask for.. Give their suggestion, tells us, what is good, whats bad...

I really recommed HMS for any dedicated server clients. Cheers to All HMS Staff..

yeah.. I missed one point. Once i called DSE on Phone.. TWO rings.. I got a technician who solved the issue, then and there..

Only one negative: We dont get any technician on Live chat.. wait for 15 mins.. Then the message comes.. "Department Unavailable"... So nowadays, we dont try Live chat.. instead submit a ticket and get the support.

Hi there,

Sorry about the delay in someone seeing this. I will bring this to the attention of someone here. Typically when someone has a dedicated server question they put it in the technology topic (like database, coding etc) but you are right, general questions about our dedicated servers have no home right now Smile

Glad to hear their dedicated Servers are cool. The VPS units are great too, but having your own box is definately alot more stable. VPS are great as long as you don't get some VPS neighbor that loves making huge queries on SQL server. These can eat up the CPU usage like crazy, and hurts everyone else on the box. I am a hair away from shipping my server out to HMS for colo.
