Hi,
Can anybody help me how to figure how I can write some code to figure out a page load time? I am hoping to get something like, "this page took X seconds to load". I am testing a verity page(just localhost for now),and I am trying to see how look the page takes to load. I see this on Google too. Thanks so much, John |

John, If you are using CFSearch, the status structure will return exactly what you need. The status structure contains a key called "Time" which will return how long the verity search took. Just add the attribute Status="MyStatusVariable" to the <CFSearch> tag. Here is more detail on CFSearch: http://www.cfquickdocs.com/cf8/#cfsearch Hope this helps |

Hi Jason,
Thanks so much for your help, and the link to the cfsearch. I was able to figure this out. Verity is really fast I also found a page on Adobe's site that was really helpful as well: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/search_cf7_print.html I am stoked to find this page, as I did not know it had a spell checker(very cool). I am thinking that verity is like having a Google for your site, and I am loving it. Thanks so much for your help Johnny |
