Is CFLOG available under a shared hosting plan (Ultra Developer)? and if so how do I find the log files?

HostMySite's Coldfusion Servers all support CFLOG as long as it is available in your version. The Ultra Dev plan is really old though. What CF Version are you running?

CF Builder Plus Quarterly, I'm assuming its CF8.....

You probably have CF8, or at the very least, CFMX7, so it should work fine.
