I am new to dreamweaver and I am having trouble understanding some of it.
Right now I am trying to figure out how to do a template. Do you have to start with a page that is finished or a blank page?? |

Dee,
Templates can be a very good learning tool for learning web design. It's possible to really look at the code and what it produces. In Dreamweaver's code/preview view, this is especially useful. For information directly from the source, here's a link from Macromedia about Templates in Dreamweaver MX 2004: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?event=view&id=KC.tn_16347&extid=tn_16347&dialogID=2012220&iterationID=2&sessionID=48304a2ba11eV$1E$3F$&stateID=0%200%202014598&mode=advanced Here is a link to download some templates directly from Macromedia: http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/download/templates/ Hope these help some. -Duncan |
