Hello,

I am interested in purchasing a Linux Builder plan, but first I have a few questions. My main concern is if I will be able to use multiple domains to access different subfolders.
Lets say I have the following domains already, which were registered elsewhere.

A. site1.com
B. site1.net
C. site2.com

1. Is their a way to link A & B to the root web directory?
2. Is their a way to link C to root/site2 and still have the address bar say http://www.site2.com & not revert back to http://www.site1.com/site2/?

Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael

For what you want to do would be multiple websites.

HostMySite's policy permits only a single unique website per account, and a unique website is defined by it's homepage. However, if you'd like to redirect your subdomains yourself, you can do so either using Cold Fusion or ASP.

You can see how others have used this script in this thread:

I should also mention you can get a Windows VPS, or Linux VPS and have as many websites as you want Smile

Yeah, as Jason said, the answer to your first question is yes, you can point as many as you want to the same root dir. The answer to the 2nd is that it is considered a 2nd site, and you would have to get a 2nd account.

Thanks,

That answers my questions. I saw the post you spoke of Jason, but I didn't know if anything had changed since that post was written in 2004.

Thanks again,
Michael
