SmarterMail 3 and early time zone changes.

I was reading in another forum that SmarterMail 3 does not support the new time zone change this year. Is this true? Does HMS have plans to upgrade to SM4 before march 11?

SmarterMail 3 currently does not account for the new time zone change. We are working closely with SmarterTools, the developer of SmarterMail, to implement a fix for our SmarterMail 3 servers.

We do plan on upgrading our servers to SmarterMail 4, but that is a long term project and will not be implemented by March 11.

The fix will be delivered to us by the end of the day, so we will work to get it applied this weekend before the time change.

All of our servers have been patched for this now and today we're sending an email to all VPS and Dedicated server clients that are running Smartermail v3 to let them know of the patch.
