I'm new to selling downloads and am wondering what kind of "store" is best for that. I currently have a Miva Merchant store online but am not sure the best way to sell "downloads". This new site will not be assosciated with my current Miva store at all and I really don't want to get involved with reinventing the wheel so any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Rumor mill is that Miva may be developing a software download module. Also, I read on Miva's forums someone suggesting contacting Sebenza (a module developer). I didn't see anything on their site but it can't hurt to ask. Their site is http://www.sebenza.com/

Apparently there's a recent module out for this. You can get it at:

Since you are posting in the ColdFusion forum...is that what you would prefer? My ColdFusion ecommerce product CFWebstore does support software downloads, you have complete control over how many accesses and days the file will be available for.
