We have got exchange server 2003 at work, we use Outlook 2003 as mail client
Now when I try to send an email I am choosing name from the list as show in the link below http://www.hssd.k12.sd.us/Technology/Outlook/address.htm Some employees have left the work , how can I remove their usernames from the list ? What I did : I have got two accounts (username : mjforum, username: marwfourm),,,fake One is deleted from AD which: mjforum One is disabled (red cross) within AD which : marwfourm Both of them have got an entry here within our exchange Server (PALYEX,,,fake ) : 1- Program --> Microsoft Exchange --> System Manager--> Servers --> PLAYEX (fake server name) --> Expand + sign --> StaffStorageGroup --> Mailbox Store (PLAYEX) --> Mailboxes Folder --> I found both usernames (mjforum, marwforum). 2- Right click each username and select exchange tasks. The option to delete the mailbox will be there. 3- Log off from the serve and log in still i can see the usernames their, and still I see their name in GAL as well. 4- Close the Outlook and open it again , still the same thing. 5- Restart my PC (workstation) still I can see their names within GLA. |
