Hi,
Does anybody use Flash Remoting with a CF (cfcs) backend here on HMS?

I am looking to host a flash remoting(flash NOT flex) project on-line,and I am looking for a place to keep it. It is basically a blog, but a full pledge one, I think that it is really cool`-`

My friend was nice enough to give me space on his server, but the support there is not helpful at all, and does not know how to fix it. This app works great on my Mac OS localhost with CF 8,and the fact that it doesn't work on this Linux host is beyond me.
It would be great to have this on-line.

Thanks for any help that you can offer.

Hi Johnny,

Flash Remoting should work fine here. We don't currently offer new plans with CF on linux though, so if you require that it might be a bit of an issue. If you are already here on an older linux plan with CF though, just give support a ring and we can look into the problem for you.

Take care!

Hi Dave,
Thanks for getting back to me, and sorry to take so long to write, been busy with school:(

I was hosting here at HMS, but ran into money issues, and I am looking to start hosting soon, if the tax rebait is nice enough to me.

Glad to here that the flash remoting should work out here, I took it off my friends site, as I kept getting "Internal Server Errors". I contacted support here to see about setting up hosting with my old domain name, and so I think that soon I should be back on-line blogging`-`

I would prefer Linux, well Mac OS X would be perfect (dreaming I know), but I know that is not offered. Windows should be fine, just looking for CF 8 & flash remoting, with no server errors`-`

Thanks again for getting back to me,
Johnny
