s there a script that can allow me to read the contents of my Linux mail from the web? I am using sendmail for my VPS websites.

I have three websites and any email I receive ends up in /var/mail/root. How can I read what I get without feeling like those guys in the Matrix watching the Matrix encoded?

First you should upgrade to PostFix, sendmail should basically only be used if you don't plan on hosting mail on your Dedicated server.

Other than that you can use SquirrelMail or Horde to check your email online. Or you could even configure a third party mail client Like Thunderbird to download your emails.
