Hi,

I'm new to HMS and I have the CF Builder plan. I currently play a game that has a website that uses PHPBB, Geeklog and MYSQL. The site administrator is going to stop playing the game and has asked someone to host the site. Does my plan provide the ability to use PHPBB, Geeklog and MYSQL? Also, if it does is there anything in particular I need to do to set it up? This site also has it's own domain name. Is it possible to use my space at HMS yet still allow the users to go to the domain for this site?

Thank you for your time,

Lisa Hall

Hello Lisa,

In order to use PHPBB, Geeklog and MYSQL, you will need to have a Linux account. (The account you currently has is on Windows.) Also, per our terms of service, each account is designed for only website, so if these are two completely different sites, you will have to purchase a second account anyway. You can view our Linux plans at http://smarterlinux.com.
Just send an email to support@hostmysite.com or give us a call if you are unsure abou what plan would be best for you.

Rolling Eyes but this person is allowed to use all three software packages on their single plan... you just don't support multiple domains... of course, not like THAT can't be worked around as well Wink muah ha ha...
