Increasingly I'm getting more pop-up messages (windows) upon entering different websites stating that "A run time error has occurred... do you wish to debug?" Often the 'error' is described as a 'syntax error' or an 'object suspected'. It used to happen only occassionally and since I couldn't see anything that webpage might be missing, I never tried to debug (not to mention I wouldn't know how) but I also didn't try because I saw no logic to why I, the visitor, should need to debug. But now even my Yahoo homepage is doing it.
What does this mean? Doesn't this indicate THEY have a problem... not me? A programming glitch? Or are these websites using software my Windows XP (or IE) doesn't recognize? What can be gaining by de-bugging one particular webpage or one website... it wouldn't cure the error for other websites.... would it? |

To can disable debugging prompt:
1. Goto Tools | Internet Options | Advanced 2. Under Browsing | Check "Disable scripting debugging" |

I suppose by suggesting I disable the debugging prompt means I don't need it? Ah, I get it, if you don't know what it means then disable it.
