Has anyone in here used Joomla?
I used Joomla and my site seemed to skip over the google sandbox. Is this unheard of? Someone said wordpress does this too? I used alot of h1 / h2 tags |

There is a google plugin for Joomla, trying to find it for you. There should also be an option in the Admin menu allowing you to create or enable spiders (which crawl your site and allow for better SEO).
I got to get back to work, I'll post back with specifics. Check the Joomla site under the Extensions section. Do a search for google. You should find it there. |

We have Joomla running here at HMS. Works fine.
There is an option in the Joomla admin section to enable 'web friendly' URLs. Be sure to read the instructions since you will need to make a change in (I think) htaccess for it to work. |

I have a friend that uses Joomla and is pretty happy with it, but my feelings are if you want it done right you have code your own CMS. Third Party CMS systems are great for clients with low expectations, and for corporations that want to fall behind in the market because they are unable to integrate all their systems for optimal use. My suggestion is to learn how to program and stop being dependent on Joomla.
