Somehow my web usage climbed above my 100megs...it's at 59meg now...I deleted a bunch of stuff - but I dunno how it grew...maybe logs or something - I'll keep looking at it.

Thanks

Logs don't contribute to the size of your site there... logs are kept completely separate, as are email, etc. Do you upload pics? Do you have a custom logging app - liek when an error arises you write it to a txt file?

Also, and keep this in mind, HMS uses ServU, so sometimes it needs to be "recalibrated" Wink No worries tho, they won't delete you for it Wink There was this guy we found this time using 4GB of space though... needless to say we were all over him lol...

nothing is 'fubar' here at HMS. Smile I have been working on the forums for the past two days, improving it for SEO needs. If you notice... (if you're not logged in) all URLs are static address now, more search engine, and user friendly. Actually... here is all the stuff I did yesterday to the forums, and that I am completing today.

1) Removed the "View Latest Post" icon and link
2) Made the date of the last post link to the last post
3) Unlinked the username of the last post
4) Removed listing of moderators
5) Removed session IDs for all search engine spiders
6) Unlinked the username of the last post inside the forums
7) Removed the "View Latest Post" icon and link inside the forums
Cool Made the date of the last post link to the last post like the icon did on viewforum.php
9) Unlinked the author username
10) Removed signatures for guest views
11) Removed avatars for guest views
12) Removed personal info (Profile, IM, PM, AIM, etc) for guest views
13) Unlinked the username of the last post on search returns
14) Removed the "View Latest Post" icon and link on search returns
15) Made the date of the last post link to the last post like the icon did on search returns
16) Unlinked the author username on search returns
17) Linked the user post count to a search of the user's posts
1Cool Made Auth list invisible to search engines
19) Made the previous and next topic links invisible to search engines
20) Removed the sitename from page titles, improving keyword weight
21) Changed the page title of the index page to a hardcoded site name because of the site name removal
22) Hid forum stats from guests and spiders
23) Static URLs

The double Username is only visable in Guest mode... so i'm going to correct that today as well as a few other minor issues. Thanks for your patience guys and enjoy the fater forum.

That's the kind of logs I was talking about...perhaps a DNN log or something...not an HMS log
