I wanted to inquire about whether or not HMS has put any serious thought into offering both of these solutions? I understand they can both be very bandwidth intensive and the startup cost would be significant.
Both of these solutions are becoming more and more mainstream and I believe they would be very profitable paths for the company to go down. I recently put a lot of thought into starting up a site devoted to High Definition, 5.1 surround sound streaming. However almost every site offering this is a reseller of Akamai. Just a thought, and I would be interested in hearing some opinions on this subject. Thanks! |

Hello Blake,
Sorry for the late reply. We've seen several requests for Silverlight, how ever we don't have any plans at the moment for supporting this. However you may want to check the forums at http://silverlight.net/forums/13.aspx. I'm interested in this developement too and I'll be trying it out and dropping hints at our infrastructure / dev team to see if this may or may not make its way to our HMS products. Thanks |
