We have 2 windows dedicated servers with HMS for the past 2 years. Till we havent come across any issues and even if we had, it was sorted then and there.
Both the servers are having Hosting Controller 7 & 8 as server mgt tool. But, unfortunately, for the past 2-3 weeks, our sites in IIS is getting stopped automatically. Each time, when we contact support, they comeup with new finding and says, its sorted out. But again the sites gets stopped randomly. A little help on this issue shall be highly appreciated. or if any senior technician in HMS can help? Regards Shibu Kumar S |

Shibu,
Have you looked through the Hosting Controller logs. I've seen on at least one other client's setup, where Hosting Controller was sending website stop commands for a site at the same time each day. In this case, it was on a Linux server, not IIS, but could be something similar. In that case, you may want to open a ticket with Hosting Controller if the logs show that HC is stopping the sites in question. |

Hello guys,
Thanks for HMS Support. they solved the issue and for the past 3 weeks, none of our sites are stopped. The issue as stated by HMS Support is as below: ---------------------------------------- Ref: verbanettechnologiesllc (H151423) Hello, It appears a large amount of logged errors being generated by your worker processes are in relation to PHP. To attempt to correct the issue, I went and upgraded php from 5.2.5 to 5.2.10 , as well as switched from the threadsafe version to the non-threadsafe version. The reason for this switch is because I implemented PHP to run under FastCGI, which is proven to be much more stable then the ISAPI filter. If you still notice problems past this point, let us know so that we can look for another cause of random pool crashes.
