False "no such user" errors when sending email

Some of our remote users (in Indonesia) have trouble sending email via Outlook to certain email addresses. The addresses are good but they receive a bounce back message that "no such user" here. Other users in the office don't have any problems. I've been working with HostMySite support but they don't seem to understand the problem or blame it on something other than their servers. I've been told from an IT expert friend that part of the problem may be that incoming mail is handled on one server and outgoing on another so it appears relayed and gets marked as spam or bounced back.

I need a solution that works but HMS has not been able to actively help.

Hello,

What is the ticket number? I'll have someone look into it for you.

Not sure what your IT friend was talking about; it's not common to have different incoming and outgoing mailservers these days. I'll have to check the ticket myself to see what support came up with.
