Optimizing MySQL is becoming a more common concern amongst our customers. Free and open source MySQL has grown rapidly in the past few years; this combined with the availability of Enterprise level support makes the software platform easily scalable. Dude,
get an Adsense Account.
No reason you shouldn't profit from your traffic.

I make $1-$3 / day with my blog, and it gets very little traffic.

The writers of High Performance MySQL, have a blog, which isn't too great of a read for a novice, however their book certainly goes a long way to fill the knowledge gap. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to set up a MySQL server for production use. Also you should be able to understand the blog a bit better after reading it as well. Wink

Free DNS tools, and SMTP tests... I started the site when DNSStuff went to a subscription based business model. Not really worried about it too much to be honest.

The greatest achievement is selflessness.
The greatest worth is self-mastery.
The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
The greatest precept is continual awareness.
The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything.
The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways.
The greatest magic is transmuting the passions.
The greatest generosity is non-attachment.
The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind.
The greatest patience is humility.
The greatest effort is not concerned with results.
The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go.
The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances
