Receiving Smartermail on a Blackberry

I have a client that is hosted with HMS and he just got a Blackberry, but he's unable to receive his SmarterMail email. Is there something I need to do to enable this? Question

If I recall correctly the Blackberry's can be configured with POP3 or IMAP.

My client says that the Blackberry support guy says that his phone is configured properly but that the email needs to be "pushed" to his blackberry.
