Macromedia recently released their first major cumulative Hotfix for CFMX 7.0, labeled as ColdFusion MX 7 Cumulative Hot Fix 2 . You can read further about the details of this by viewing:

http://macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=fd71533

This Hotfix has been installed on all of the HostMySite CFMX 7 servers for our shared hosting during the offpeak hours after testing it on our servers and was a successful installation. For those of you who have been seeing errors regarding Verity Collection mappings, Scheduled tasks running at incorrect times, CFtransaction alongside a cfquery errors, etc, this clears up many of these issues as you will read.

Some of the hotfix issues addressed include:

- Using a nested cftransaction action alongside a cfquery with login parameters will now pass the login parameters properly
- FlashGateway can now work with ColdFusion 7 without changing gatewayUrl
- Can now use multiple services in a single WSDL
- Subreport page breaks correctly and uses correct space on page now
- Mapping Verity collections with the incorrect locale no longer leaves the collection in an unusable state
- cfsearch will use the Verity fields if CF_URL and CF_KEY are empty
- cfindex will now allow custom type with no query
- cfsearch now returns the size column in bytes instead of kilobytes (K)
- cffile permissions are set correctly on Unix after action=COPY
- Daily scheduled tasks run at the right time when ColdFusion is restarted
- Memory is no longer permanently consumed when debug is enabled in the ColdFusion Administrator
- ColdFusion mappings are now honored for Web Services
- Sessions are no longer lost when a clustered ColdFusion server restarts
- ColdFusion subreports now flow correctly across page boundaries
