Is there an easy to follow tutorial on how to create a simple database driven page. I want to be able to use a form and update a schedule each month. I'm guessing it would be easiest to do it week by week, see page >> http://www.saintagnesparish.org/organizations/altarserver.asp and http://www.saintagnesparish.org/organizations/eucharisticminister.asp

I know it would be one database with at least two tables, one for Altar Server info and one for Eucharistic Minister info. Maybe another table for users, because there would be at least 3 or 4 people who could update the schedule each month.

It would be even cooler if records could expire at a certain date.

I really need to learn to do this because I have several projects that can be easily created with this type of set up...unless anyone else has a different way to go...

and no, I don't even come close to knowing cold fusion. I'm good at tinkering with ASP at best, but not custom writing.

Any help would be much much appreciated.

Thanks again,

Dan

You can find tutorials all over the web...

Try a few of these place (assuming ASP mostly)

www.codeproject.com
www.devx.com
www.4guysfromrolla.com

I would also HIGLY HIGHLY reccommend getting a copy of this book to have by your side as you are learnign ASP

http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/productCd-0764543636.html

This is for Classic ASP - not ASP.NET
If you're feeling a lil froggy and wanna give .NET a shot, then grab a copy of Visual Studio .NET somehow (don't tell me how...) and get this book
http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/productCd-0764557084.html

You can tell I am a fan of the Wrox books...they are IMHO the best books out there for begginer to intermediate programmers (such as myself) Once you have ASP pretty much under your belt...then I'd grab some of the Oreilly books...they are more referance books than instructional books though...
Thanks
