If I use ASPMAIL, and I set the ASPqMail = true, I understand this sends the email(s) to the queue, and does not send it immediately, which is great if you're sending to a lot of people.
My questions are: 1) Is there a limit to the number of recipients that can be queued like this? 2) How often is the queue flushed? 3) How many emails are sent out of the queue each time it is flushed? I'm hosting with Hostmysite on a shared windows server, but their tech support didn't know the answers - so they sent me here... Does anyone know? Thanks! |

To be quite honest, this is a question better answered by HMS's technical staff. And if their first tier can't answer it then maybe it should be shot up to a higher level tech.

The settings are going to be very individual per server. As far as I can find, there isn't a max number of recipients per email. There is a specific setting per server that defines how often the queue is checked in order to send messages, and also, it seems that all messages in the queue are emptied out at this time.
