Hey all. I have a client who has an Access dB and now wants to convert over to SQL Server. How can I do this? I do not have MS SQL Server installed on my local PC.
Thanks. |

The best approach is using MS Access built in Upsizing wizard. You can get a explanation of how to use it here:
http://sqljunkies.com/Article/BD909D1E-3EA1-4323-889E-5E3A5415B977.scuk You an access it via Tools menu, point to Database Utilities, and then click Upsizing Wizard. Follow the instructions. It's pretty straight forward. Make sure when you connect to your server at HMS you have the correct name or IP (example: delta.safesecureweb.com) |
