Can someone from HMS comment on why the VPS hosting packages are not being offered for resellers?

I wanted to comment on why Hostmysite does not offer a reseller discount on our VPS based plans. There are primarily two reasons for this as follows:
1) The pricing we currently offer we feel is competitive with other VPS offerings that you will find at other providers for what is included. Since there is a much higher overhead cost with the VPS based plans vs. a typical shared server we have to price accordingly.
2) Since VPS's are a solution that allows you to host as many sites as you want this can be a significant cost savings for resellers who only have to pay one flat price as opposed to using seperate hosting accounts. You also have the added benefit of installing anything you want on the environment to better serve your customers.
This type of plan is comprable to a dedicated server which we do not offer a reseller discount either. If you do have any questions about this please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.
