Jason,
As far as running any CMS, I would imagine they should do fine. I know people who have run everything from FarCry (Coldfusion,) to DotnetNuke and Wordpress without any issues. Ultimately it comes down to just knowing how to configure the CMS with the website and any "special" settings that may be needed in IIS. I know from my own experience that DotNetNuke is probably one of the more difficult ones to setup. By no means is it a bad system, its actually quite powerful but it involves a lot of back end work for virtual directory paths, SQL connections being configured etc. What are you trying to accomplish with a CMS? Maybe we can recommend one to you. |

For organizational reasons, EZ-Publish is the product we're looking at now.
EZ-Publish has some specific configuration issues, e.g. PHP4 not 5, etc which can probably be arranged. I was just looking for any war stories that will shorten my learning curve. Thanks for your input. |
