I have 3 .asp pages on my site (that haven't changed since I started using HostMySite) that are taking FOREVER to load.

One (default.asp at the root of my web) simply does a redirect to another page on my website. The 2nd has an .asp extension but is pure HTML - no ASP script. The final one is used to provide a level of indirection for .pdf, .zip and .doc files on my site.

The first two .asp pages take forever to load, and the 3rd (that is used to provide the indirection to my .pdf etc. files) is reporting an error. I haven't changed any of these pages in a long time, and these problems are just showing up today.

All plain .html files on my site are loading as fast as ever. Is something going on with ASP today? The site I'm refering to is at http://www.bcfpi.com .

send an email to support@hostmysite.com (as they don't regularly monitor these forums) and tell them that same thing... they prolly just need to perform an iisreset - clear all the application pools and what not.

Done. I haven't gotten a response from support yet, but it is working now, about 10 mins after my support request. Very Happy

Hello,

Remember that 98% of the time that you make a request if you site does go down, someone here already knows about the issue and is working on it if not has been working by the time we receive any correspondence. Most issues that we see are from memory problems related to CF/ASP/.Net code run rampant from database connections that aren't closed. There are the few issues that we see that are a bit more than the usual couple of minutes to fix, and it is generally those times that we start contacting customers back when they let us know that there are problems. Of course, if there is any time that you have questions, you can always contact us and ask. Emailing or online chat are the best ways to get to us and get a response pretty quickly, and we also answer the phone which astounds a lot of new customers.
