I join a link exchange with other site. I notice that they put my site info yesterday. And I do a google search with my site domain. my site is http://www.anawholesale.com. I search with the term "anawholesale". Google has update it within 3 days. But they didn't update my site for 3 months. Why is that? Do i need to submit it to google everytime i make a change? In control panel, there is a link submission section. Is that useful?

It takes awhile for Google to find a new website and when they do, it's usually because of a link they followed from another website. And no, you don't need to submit to Google again... it doesn't matter how many changes you make later, they know you're there now. As far as I can tell, Google updates about once a week.
Just some additional advice... be careful who you link to and avoid using 'link farms'. Google doesn't like to be scamed, so just work on getting one link at a time from websites that have a similar interest to yours. In other words, it wouldn't make sense for a baby nursery to link their website to that of an auto mechanic. I hope this helps. |

Thanks. Got it. I apply the dmoz.org directory, but it take few months to review my site.
