I haven't tried it yet, so I thought I would ask if anyone has successfully used <cfschedule> on a shared server.

I have used it here with a windows shared account in the past.

I had a page, that when executed ran several stored procedures in sql server. We don't use that site any longer but it ran well, each night, for at least 2 years that I know of.

If you use a CFSchedule you will need to work with support to have it setup in CF Admin.

tedjtw,

That helps. Thanks for the tip. Were you able to successfully modify the schedule programatically?
i.e. <cfschedule action="Update"

Or did you need to contact HMS to edit the schedule?

Thanks

I never tried changing the schedule. However I would assume support is needed for that too. Seems like something that would be a security risk.
